"It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves." ~ Sir Edmund Hillary. "I've learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it."
"The day you take complete responsibility for yourself, the day you stop making any excuses, that's the day you start to the top."

Sonific SongSpot: Healing \ New Age
Sonific SongSpot: Healing \ New Age
Sonific SongSpot: Healing \ New Age
No matter where you are right now, you can start over ~ today. You have a choice to make. You can choose to keep making the same decisions and stay where you are, or you can choose to start over, and start making some changes that will move you closer to your dreams.
Morning Prayer:
Inspirer of my mind, consoler of my heart, healer of my spirit,
Thy presence lifteth me from earth to heaven,
Thy words flow as the sacred river,
Thy thought riseth as a divine spring,
Thy tender feelings waken sympathy in my heart.Beloved Teacher,
thy very being is forgiveness.
The clouds of doubt and fear are scattered by thy piercing glance;
All ignorance vanishes in thy illuminating presence;
A new hope is born in my heart by breathing thy peaceful atmosphere.
O inspiring Guide through life's puzzling ways,
In thee I feel abundance of blessing.

Heart Of The Buddha:

"All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him.
If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought,
happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him."
~ Lord Buddha
"Confused by thoughts,
we experience duality in life.
Unencumbered by ideas,
the enlightened see the one Reality."
~ Hui Neng
"No need to chase back and forth like the waves.
The same water which ebbs is the same water that flows.
No point turning back to get water
When it's flowing around you in all directions
The heart of the Buddha and the people of the world...
Where is there any difference?"

As long as the dance continues, life goes on:

Dance, when you're broken up.
Dance, if you've torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
Dance in your blood.
Dance, when you're perfectly free.

The Climbing Adventure:

The Climbing Adventure
~ by CJ Heck
Climbing-climbing up the rock
through the woods, my hands are locked
on the rope so prickly-prickly
past the pine tree, tickly-tickly.
Climbing-climbing, higher-higher,
muscles feel like they're on fire!
Through the dry leaves, rustle-rustle,
feel the wind push, hustle-hustle.
A long long way to the tippity top.
Hold on tight or flippity flop!
One foot here, then one foot there,
(wish steps in rocks were everywhere).
Huffing-puffing but not quite there.
Look out! There's a grizzly bear!
Shhh-shhh use tippy-toes.
He's turning now. See, there he goes!
Uh oh, snakes beside me, sliding-gliding!
Nowhere to go for hiding-hiding!
Danger-danger! I can see
the snakes are slithering after me,
but no, they're going in the ground
through those holes going down-down
Oh no, growling-growling from behind!
If I turn, what will I find?
A grumpy-grumpy scary thing?
I wish I brought a bell to ring!
It's getting dark and hard to see
the something else that's chasing me!
Oh my gosh ... I'm at the top.
I guess for now, I`ll have to stop.
That was fun, I love pretending ...
but I wish the stairs were never ending!

Let's Have A 'Green' Flight:

Airbus head of alternative fuels research, Sebastien Remy, said he hopes that around 25 percent
of fuel will come from alternative sources by 2025.
The company is testing gas to liquid, or GTL, for benefits in terms of air quality and fuel burn compared with existing jet fuels. GTL is virtually sulfur free.
It also sets the groundwork for the development of other alternative fuels, such as liquid fuel from biomass -- organic material made from plants such as algae, he said.

Located on the banks of the Daugava River, Riga boasts an historic old centre, with more
than 800 Art Nouveau buildings -- possibly the finest collection in Europe -- and other unique examples of Gothic and Baroque architecture have led to the `old town' of Riga being declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Japan's "Three Holy Mountains"

Hydrangeas at Mount Fuji

Bird Enjoying View of Mount Fuji

The Japanese Mount Fuji
Japan has a Great Three of about everything. It has its three great views, three great castles, three great night views and just about every three great something anyone could think of. One of the most impressive out of these three great everything is Japan's three great mountains. These three mountains are considered the greatest among Japan's numerous peaks and mountain ranges. Namely, these mountains are Mount Fuji, Mount Haku and Mount Tate. The Japanese term for Mountain is `Yama' so Mount Fuji is also called Fujiyama, Mount Haku is Hakuyama, and Mount Tate is Tateyama. Sometimes, the `Mount' is not removed so they can also be called Mount Fujiyama, Mount Hakuyama and Mount Tateyama (which seems very redundant).
